Data We Store
TravelDays may store the following data on your device:
- Your selected home country.
- Countries you have visited.
- Visit start and end dates.
- Whether a visit was detected automatically or added manually.
- Optional notes you add to a trip.
Location
If you enable automatic tracking, TravelDays uses your device location to detect when you are in a different country from your home country.
TravelDays does not store your precise GPS coordinates. It converts location updates into a country code and stores the country-level visit record.
Data Sharing
TravelDays does not sell your data and does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Travel summary data may be shared locally between the iPhone app, iOS widgets, Apple Watch app, and watch complications using Apple App Groups and WatchConnectivity.
Network Use
TravelDays uses Apple system services such as Location Services, reverse geocoding, MapKit, WidgetKit, and WatchConnectivity to provide app functionality.
TravelDays does not send your travel history to a developer-operated server.
Your Choices
You can turn off automatic location tracking in the app settings or in iOS Settings.
You can delete your trip data from the app settings.
